Java Jayne tote bags come in five basic sizes/styles:
- The Mini Tote Bag
- The Medium Shoulder Tote Bag
- The Large Shoulder Tote Bag
- The Extra-Large Shoulder Tote Bag (beach size)
- The Classic Boat Tote Bag
All measurements are approximate because we use the original printing on the coffee sacks to determine the actual size of the finished bags. We think the logos and graphics of the coffee bean growers are cool, and so we try to incorporate as much of them as possible into each bag.
All printing on the finished products is original to the coffee grower, transporter, importer or roasting house. We don’t touch up or add any of our own markings to the bags. It’s all authentic to the coffee sack – where the coffee was grown, how it was transported, where it arrived – it’s entire life use.
Mini Tote Bags:
Our mini tote bags are great for people on the go. They are roomy enough to double as a lunch bag, purse or even to organize all those spare kid toys and parts.
Our coffee and gift shop customers think they’re the perfect size to make into gift packages. Just add a coffee mug, a bag of fresh ground coffee and a bow for a gift that any coffee lover would appreciate.
Mini burlap tote bags are approximately 10″ wide X 8″ high, straps 1″ wide and 18″ long. Exterior and straps are re-purposed burlap from an upcycled coffee sack. Interior is light cotton lining in various colors.
Medium Shoulder Totes:
Medium size shoulder tote bags are handy and rugged for everyday use. Teens like them for the cool eco-friendly appeal and Moms appreciate their carry-all functionality. The bag has a sizeable storage area with an interior patch pocket so keys are easy to find.
Medium size shoulder tote bags are approximately 14″ wide X 13″ high, straps 2″ wide and 36″. Exterior and straps are re-purposed burlap from an upcycled coffee sack. Interior is light cotton lining in various colors.
Large Shoulder Totes:
Like the medium size bags, the large bags are super useful. The slightly larger size gives you a bit more space for those larger format items yet is still quite versatile for all sorts of uses. It also lets us include some slightly larger graphics from the original coffee sacks.
The large shoulder bag has a generous storage area with a two-compartment interior patch pocket.
Large size shoulder tote bags are approximately 16″ wide X 14″ high, straps 2″ wide and 36″. Exterior and straps are re-purposed burlap from an upcycled coffee sack. Interior is light cotton lining in various colors.
Extra Large Totes:
When large just isn’t large enough, you may need our extra-large beach size tote bag. This big ass bag is built for size and best exemplifies the concept of simple re-use. It’s taken straight from the bottom half of a 150 lb. coffee sack, complete with original jute side stitching. The top is turned over and handles are stitched on with cross stitching for extra strength.
Extra large size shoulder tote bags are approximately 14″ wide X 13″ high, straps 2″ wide and 36″. Exterior and straps are re-purposed burlap from an upcycled coffee sack. Extra-large tote bags feature the natural burlap interior without an additional fabric lining.
